I have several Italian cookbooks that have the same old recipes. This cookbook tempts you on every page. It is different because their main herb is sage rather than oregano. The recipe for sage leaves with an anchovy between them and then fried in a batter is perfect. Her Italian Festival Food is also beyond what most books offer. Nice part is most ingredients are easy to find in supermarkets.
